If you can’t find key limes or key lime juice for this recipe, you can use regular limes. Either way, you’ll have a rich and refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup key lime juice
  • Optional: 2 teaspoons lime zest (divided)
  • 1 9-inch graham cracker crust

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, combine the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice. Beat until smooth and then fold in the lime zest, if using.
  2. Spread the filling in the pie crust.
  3. Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  4. Slice and serve with fresh whipped cream or frozen, thawed whipped topping, if desired.
