- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup salad oil
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- Combine the cabbage, onion, bell pepper, and carrot in a large bowl.
- Combine the vinegar, sugar, oil, celery seeds, mustard seeds, and pepper in a small saucepan; heat to boiling.
