If you enjoy ranch dressing as a salad dressing or dip, you will love this homemade ranch dressing mix recipe. This ranch dressing mix is a combination of dried herbs and spices. Using dried herbs and spices ensures the mix will keep well. With the addition of some buttermilk and mayonnaise, you’ll have a dressing that tastes remarkably similar to store-bought ranch dressing, if not better! This recipe makes enough to make about 5 cups of dressing. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Tips
- Check the dates on your dried herbs. The mixture should be good for as long as the oldest ingredient’s sell-by date.
- Keep the dried herbs in an airtight jar or resealable storage bag in a cool, dry place for best quality.
- Shake or stir the mixture well before measuring it to make the dressing or dip.
