- 1 stick butter, melted (4 ounces)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 (15-ounce) can whole kernel corn (drained, or 1 1/2 to 2 cups of frozen steamed corn)
- 1 (14.75-ounce) can cream-style corn
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Butter an 8-inch baking dish.
- Combine the flour and melted butter in a bowl; blend thoroughly. Whisk the sugar, milk, and eggs into the butter mixture until well blended.
- Add both kinds of corn to the first mixture and stir to blend. Taste and add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Bake the corn pudding for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until set and the top is golden brown.
