Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 pull-apart Hawaiian rolls, left connected
  • 6 to 8 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 to 6 ounces shredded fontina cheese, or any good melty cheese

Instructions

  1. Line a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and set aside 2 tablespoons in a small bowl.
  3. To the butter in the pan add the honey mustard, 2 tablespoons of the everything bagel seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce; mix to blend thoroughly.
  4. Carefully slice the flat of rolls in half horizontally and spread all cut sides with the butter and mustard mixture.
  5. Layer the ham and cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  6. Top with the top portion of the rolls.
  7. Brush the top of the rolls with the reserved melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining bagel seasoning.
  8. Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake the sliders for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to cook until they are browned and the cheese has melted, about 5 minutes longer.
  9. Slice between the buns to separate them and serve ham and cheese sliders warm.
