Quick and easy buttered egg noodles with fresh parsley—perfect with meatballs, salmon, stroganoff, or shrimp.

  • 12 ounces medium egg noodles (or wide egg noodles)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles. Fill a large saucepan with water and add 1 tablespoon of kosher salt. Add the noodles and cook them following the package directions.
  2. Prepare the serving bowl. Add the butter to a large serving bowl.
  3. Finish the dish. Drain the noodles thoroughly and then transfer them to the serving bowl. Toss the noodles with the butter and parsley until well blended. Taste and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
