Easy Pour Pizza

This pizza is a game changer! Just pour the dough mixture in the pan and add the toppings!

easy pour pizza in the baking pan

This easy pour pizza is one of those clever weeknight recipes that feels almost magical — you simply whisk together a quick batter, pour it into the pan, and let the oven turn it into a crust. No kneading, no rising, no rolling. Once the base is set, you add sauce, toppings, and cheese, and it finishes into a bubbling, golden pizza that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.

It’s a perfect option for busy nights, picky eaters, or times when you want homemade pizza without the fuss of dough. Customize the toppings however you like — pepperoni, veggies, or leftover cooked meats — and enjoy a comforting meal with minimal effort.

I used our favorite toppings: ground beef, pepperoni, mushrooms, and sliced black olives. It’s a combo casserole-pizza, and it makes a satisfying family meal that everyone will enjoy. If you love pizza but don’t have time to make a homemade dough, this is an excellent option!

What You’ll Like About This Dish

No dough skills needed. The batter creates its own crust in the oven — no kneading or rising.

Weeknight-friendly. Ready to assemble and bake with simple pantry ingredients.

Customizable. Add any toppings you enjoy, from classic pepperoni to veggies.

Fun for families. A great recipe for kids or anyone who loves easy, hands-on cooking.

Ingredient Notes

  • Ground beef and onion: Create a savory topping layer; cook ahead so the pizza doesn’t get soggy.
  • Flour, salt, pepper, basil: The dry ingredients for the pourable crust.
  • Eggs and milk: Bind the batter and help it bake into a tender base.
  • Pizza sauce: Use homemade or store-bought — both work perfectly.
  • Toppings: Pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, or whatever you like.
  • Mozzarella cheese: Melts beautifully for that classic pizza finish.

Steps to Make Easy Pour Pizza

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking pan.
  2. Brown the ground beef with the onion; set aside.
  3. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and basil in a bowl.
  4. Whisk the eggs with milk, then stir into the dry mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Sprinkle the cooked beef mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake until the base is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and add sauce and toppings.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese and bake again until melted and bubbly.

Tips

  • Spread the batter gently — it will settle into the pan on its own.
  • Cook and drain ground beef well to avoid extra moisture.
  • Layer toppings lightly so the pizza bakes evenly.
  • Let the pizza rest a few minutes before slicing for cleaner pieces.

Recipe Variations

  • Supreme pizza. Add onions, peppers, olives, sausage, and mushrooms.
  • Pepperoni lovers. Layer the entire top with pepperoni before adding cheese.
  • Veggie version. Use sautéed zucchini, spinach, or roasted vegetables.
  • Spicy pizza. Add jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • BBQ twist. Use BBQ sauce and leftover cooked chicken with cheddar cheese.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with a simple green salad or Caesar salad.
  • Add garlic bread or breadsticks for a fuller meal.
  • Pair with marinara or ranch for dipping.
  • Choose roasted vegetables or a pasta salad as sides.
  • Slice leftovers for easy next-day lunches.

How to Store

Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Freeze: Freeze slices for up to 2 months; thaw in the refrigerator.

Reheat: Warm in a 350°F oven or air fryer to keep the crust from getting soft.
