Chicken Madras

In this easy dish, chicken parts and apples are baked with onions and curry powder.

  1. Heat the oven to 400 F.
  2. In a 3-quart greased casserole or baking dish, combine the onion and apples; sprinkle with salt and curry powder. Mix well.
  3. Arrange chicken over the apples, skin-side down. Sprinkle generously with paprika.
  4. Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes.
