  • Butter, for the baking sheet
  • 1 12-roll slab Hawaiian rolls
  • 3 cups pulled pork, homemade leftover or store-bought
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce, or more if desired
  • 1 cup prepared coleslaw (from above), or to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Slaw

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar, salt, oil, mustard, celery seeds, pepper, and vinegar; bring to a simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved.
    1/4 cup granulated sugar | 1/4 tsp kosher salt | 2 tbsp vegetable oil | 1/4 tsp dry mustard powder | 1/2 tsp celery seeds | Dash freshly ground black pepper | 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
    Chopped red bell peppers, onions, carrots, and celery in a glass bowl.
  • Combine the cabbage, red onion, carrot, and bell pepper in a large bowl; pour the dressing over the mixture and toss to combine. Set aside and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to meld flavors.
    3 cups cabbage | 1/3 cup red onion | 1 small carrot | 1/4 cup bell pepper

Assemble the Sliders

  • Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter a rimmed baking sheet.

  • Slice the flat of buns in half crosswise and remove the top and set it aside. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a lightly buttered baking sheet and top with the pulled pork.

  • Tip: Make sure you evenly distribute the pulled pork so each slider gets a similar amount.
  • Drizzle with the barbecue sauce and top with slaw (you'll have extra slaw for serving). Place the top of the slab of rolls over the slaw layer.

  • Combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder, and brush over the tops of the buns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for 12 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 3 to 5 minutes longer or until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
