Ingredients
  

  • Butter for the pan
  • 3 ⅔ cups confectioners' sugar, (1 pound)
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup butter
  • A dash of salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  • Butter an 8-inch square pan.

  • Combine the confectioners' sugar, cocoa, milk, butter, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl; stir to blend. Microwave on high power for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the butter is melted. Stir until smooth.

  • Tip: Sift the confectioners’ sugar and cocoa if lumpy. That helps the fudge stir up smooth.

  • Spread the mixture into the pan and cool completely before cutting into squares.
