Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ham, fully cooked
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 8 ounces pineapple , 8 to 16-ounce can, drained
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  • Place the ham steaks in the slow cooker.
  • Combine the brown sugar and cornstarch in a bowl or 2-cup measure; blend well. Add the ketchup, pineapple juice, vinegar, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the pineapple chunks over the ham in the slow cooker, then pour the sauce mixture over all.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.

Oven

  • Heat the oven to 350 F.
  • Place the ham steaks in a baking dish.
  • Combine the brown sugar and cornstarch in a bowl or 2-cup measure; blend well. Add the ketchup, the juice from the pineapple, vinegar, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the pineapple chunks over the ham in the slow cooker, then pour the sauce mixture over all.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
