Ingredients
  

  • Cooking spray, for the baking sheet
  • 3 ½ pounds whole chicken legs, about 6 whole legs with thighs attached
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 cloves garlic, grated, about 1 tablespoon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil spray or line it with nonstick foil.

  • Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
    3 1/2 pounds whole chicken legs
  • Combine the paprika, salt, and pepper; rub the mixture over the chicken pieces.

  • Combine the grated garlic with the olive oil and lightly rub it all over the chicken legs.
    6 cloves garlic | 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Arrange the chicken on the baking sheet, skin-side up.
  • Roast the whole legs for 45 to 55 minutes, or until golden brown. Cook to 175–185°F for tender, moist, dark meat.
