Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 sub rolls, split horizontally or 1/2 baguette, approx. 6 ounces
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Position the oven rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 350 F.
  • Put the butter and minced garlic in a small skillet or saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until the butter has melted and the garlic is aromatic.

  • Place the split sub rolls on a baking pan, cut side up and brush with the butter and garlic mixture. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
    Spread garlic butter over the bread and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Bake the bread for 7 minutes, then turn the oven broiler on and broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned.
