Double Chocolate Chip Cookies (5 ingredients!)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 350°F.
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Beat on low speed until the dough is well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
    1 (15.25-ounce) box chocolate cake mix | 2 large eggs | 1/4 cup vegetable oil | 3/4 cup chocolate chips | 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Edges should be set and lightly crisp. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet briefly and then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
