Creamed Lobster

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced shallot
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 ½ cups cooked lobster meat, coarsely chopped, about 12 ounces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Biscuits, puff pastry shells, rice, or toast points (optional), for serving
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional), for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.2 tbsp butter
