Ingredients
  

  • Cooking oil spray for the baking sheet
  • 6 cups cubed cornbread
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking oil spray.

  • Toss the cornbread cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
    6 cups cubed cornbread | 4 tbsp olive oil | 1/2 tsp kosher salt | 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Bake the cubes for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring and flipping halfway through.
  • Let the cornbread cubes cool completely before using or storing them.
  • Store cooled croutons in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. Re-crisp in a 350°F oven for a few minutes if needed before serving.
