Chocolate Toffee Cake Mix Cookies
A chocolate cake mix makes these toffee-studded cookies a snap to mix and bake. Oats and toffee chips add great flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- 1 15.25-ounce box chocolate fudge cake mix
- ½ cup quick oats
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup toffee chips
- ¾ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

- Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Fold in the toffee chips and chopped nuts, if using.3/4 cup toffee chips | 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- Drop by teaspoonfuls or with a small cookie scoop onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool in the pan for a few minutes until they firm up. With a spatula, carefully remove them to a rack to cool completely.
If the dough is very sticky, let it stand for a few minutes before scooping, or lightly grease the scoop.
Avoid overbaking; these cookies are best when just set so they stay soft.
