  • Combine the rice vinegar, sesame oil, miso paste, and mayonnaise in a small bowl and whisk until smooth and well blended. Add the ginger and garlic powder; stir and set aside.
    2 tbsp rice vinegar | 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil | 2 tbsp white miso paste | 2 tbsp mayonnaise | 1/2 tsp grated ginger | 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • In a serving bowl, toss the fresh broccoli florets and shredded carrot with the finely chopped red onion.
    8 ounces fresh broccoli florets | 1/4 cup shredded carrot | 2 to 4 tbsp finely chopped red onion
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli and toss to combine.
  • Cover the bowl and chill thoroughly before serving.
  • If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the salad.
    2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
