BLT Salad With a Maple Dijon Dressing

  • 4 cups shredded lettuce or mixed greens
  • 2 medium fresh tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large hard-boiled eggs

Instructions

  • Combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, oregano, black pepper, and kosher salt in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake until blended. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Refrigerate until serving time.
    1/2 cup olive oil | 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar | 1 tbsp maple syrup | 1 tbsp Dijon mustard | 1 clove garlic | 1/2 tsp dried leaf oregano | 1/4 tsp ground black pepper | 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • Layer the greens, tomato wedges, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Cut the hard-boiled eggs into wedges and arrange them on the salads.
