Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds 85% ground beef, 85/15
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 sesame seed hamburger buns, toasted if desired

Instructions

  • Prepare the Air Fryer: Brush the air fryer basket with a small amount of oil and preheat it to 400 F.

  • Mix: Combine the ground beef, shredded cheese (if using), Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl; mix with your hands until well blended.

  • Shape: Shape the ground beef mixture into 4 patties, making an indentation in the center of each patty.

  • Air-Fry: Transfer the hamburger patties to the air fryer basket and cook for about 10 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time. The temperature should be around 160 F, which is the minimum safe temperature for ground beef. See the USDA safe cooking chart
