Easy Chocolate Truffles

These chocolate mock truffles are unbelievably easy! Frosting, milk chocolate, and liqueur make creamy, delicious treats, and the coating adds texture.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces milk or dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 can creamy chocolate frosting, 16 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon Bailey’s Irish Cream or Kahlua

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in top of double boiler over simmering water. Stir until evenly melted.
  2. Add the frosting to the chocolate along with the Irish Cream or Kahlua. Blend well.
  3. Chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  4. Use a spoon, small cookie scoop, or melon baller to scoop mixture in uniform amounts. Shape into balls and roll in jimmies, coconut, cocoa, or sugar (granulated or confectioners’).
  5. Place the truffles in mini muffin cups lined with mini cupcake liners. Chill until firm.
  6. Store the truffles in the refrigerator an airtight container.
