Cocoa and espresso powder are combined to make the perfect mocha flavor in this easy 5-ingredient mocha ice cream recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, natural
  • 1 heaping tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl whisk together the cocoa, espresso powder, sweetened condesned milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream to soft peaks. Fold in the chocolate mixture.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill for about an hour in the refrigerator or for about 15 minutes in the freezer.
  4. Churn the ice cream following your ice cream maker’s instructions.
  5. This will make about 1 1/2 quarts. Churn the ice cream in two separate batches in a 1-quart machine.
