The Instant Pot pressure cooker is a great way to cook cabbage. All you need is a few minutes to chop the cabbage, some chicken or vegetable broth, and basic seasonings. The cabbage cooks to perfection in just 6 minutes! Make sure to allow 8 to 10 minutes for pressure to build, and that’s all there is to it!

Instant Pot cabbage makes an excellent side dish to serve with corned beef, ham, or a pork roast, and it is wonderful with smoked sausages.

Feel free to add caraway seeds if you like them, or garnish the cabbage with fresh herbs, such as parsley, chives, thyme, or rosemary. Or transfer the cabbage to a greased casserole dish, top it with your favorite melting cheese, and bake it at 350 F until the cheese is melted.
