A cake mix makes these double chocolate chip cookies remarkably easy!   And there’s no chilling required!

Ingredients

  • 1 13.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix (or 15.25-ounce)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
  3. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Beat on low speed until the dough is well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or teaspoon drop the dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set.
