  • 1 package (113 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 to 4 1/2 (450 to 500 grams) cups confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth; beat in the butter and salt until well blended.
  2. Add about half of the confectioners’ sugar and beat on low until blended. Add the remaining confectioners’ sugar and blend on low speed.
  3. Add the vanilla and increase the speed to medium; beat until smooth.
