Ingredients

  • 1 small head cauliflower
  • 2 small broccoli crowns
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced red bell pepper, optional
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim broccoli and cauliflower; break into small florets. Put the broccoli and cauliflower in a serving bowl and add the red onions, bell pepper.
  2. In another bowl, combine the mayonnaise, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Add the dressing mixture to the vegetables and toss to blend. Chill thoroughly.
  3. Garnish with cooked crumbled bacon just before serving.
