Maple syrup and some whole wheat flour give this bread flavor and texture. It’s easy to make in the bread machine.

- 1 cup milk, lukewarm
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 3 teaspoons instant yeast (aka rapid rise, bread machine yeast)
- Put all ingredients in your bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Bake the bread on the quick or rapid cycle, light crust.
