Shrimp Marinara with Pasta

print This flavorful marinara sauce is made with shrimp and spicy seasonings. It's a quick and easy sauce to prepare for angel hair pasta or spaghetti.

Total Time: 40 minutes


Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat oil; cook onion, green pepper, and garlic until tender. Add chopped tomatoes with liquid, tomato paste, and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add shrimp to the saucepan. cover and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, until shrimp are opaque and fully cooked. Don't overcook the shrimp.
  3. Serve shrimp marinara with hot cooked pasta.
