Easy Fish Dinner in Foil

print This easy fish in foil is great with haddock, halibut, or other mild fish fillets. Lemon, dill, and capers give this fish dish lots of flavor.

Cook Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes


  1. Heat the oven to 375 F.
  2. Generously grease one side of a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil. Place frozen fish on center of greased half of the foil; sprinkle with garlic and arrange lemon slices over top. Sprinkle with dillweed, dry mustard, and capers. Dot with 1 tablespoon of the butter.
  3. Place potatoes and carrots and celery around fish.
  4. Dot vegetables with remaining 1 tablespoon of the butter; sprinkle with salt.
  5. Fold foil around the fish and vegetables, sealing well. Place package in a shallow baking dish.
  6. Bake for 1 hour.
