Meringue Topping for Pie

Use this fluffy meringue topping for your favorite butterscotch or chocolate pie, or use it for a lemon or key lime pie.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes


  1. Heat the oven to 325 F.
  2. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat until stiff.
  3. Add vanilla and pile the meringue onto the pie.
  4. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
