Creamy Candy Recipe


print This brown sugar fudge candy is filled with raisins and chopped almonds. It's a great candy to make for a weekend sweet tooth, or make for holiday guests.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes


  1. Combine sugars, water, and cream of tartar; boil to 240 F on a candy thermometer, or until a few drops form a medium hard ball when tested in cold water.
  2. Add vanilla and stir until creamy. Turn out onto wet platter and cool to lukewarm. Knead in the raisins and chopped almonds.
  3. Shape into a roll 1-inch in diameter. Slice with a sharp knife.
