Ditch the beef and try these juicy turkey burgers. Packed with flavor, they’re cooked to perfection in just 10 to 15 minutes.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground turkey (93/7 lean to fat ratio)

1 large egg (lightly beaten)

1/3 cup panko crumbs (or fine, dry breadcrumbs)

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

4 hamburger buns (toasted if desired)

Optional Toppings: Sliced tomato, lettuce, red onion, pickles

Optional Condiments: Mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, remoulade sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well but gently to avoid overmixing. prep for turkey burgers
  2. Shape the Burgers: Shape the mixture into 4 burger patties, using your thumb or finger to make an indentation in the center of each one. If desired, place them in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes to firm them up a bit more. shaped turkey burgers ready to cook
  3. Cook: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until browned.
