1 1/2 pounds chicken wings (about 12 to 15 pieces)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 tablespoons butter
Dash kosher salt
1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Prepare the Air Fryer: Brush the air fryer basket with a little oil or spray with ghee or olive oil. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F (200 C).
Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken wings with paper towels to dry. Sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder; toss with the baking powder.
Cook: Arrange the wings in the air fryer, standing some of them up and leaning them against the side of the basket as necessary. You may have to cook two batches in a smaller air fryer.
Cook for 25 minutes, flipping every 10 minutes. If they are still a bit pale, flip again and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
Prepare the Sauce: While the wings cook, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 1/2 minutes or until aromatic. Avoid overbrowning. Immediately transfer the sauce mixture to a large bowl.
Sauce the Wings: Transfer the cooked wings to the large bowl with the sauce mixture and toss to coat. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and parsley over the wings and gently toss until well combined.
Serve: Serve with extra Parmesan cheese and ranch dressing if desired, and enjoy!
