Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp. Remove the shells. With the tip of a sharp knife, make a shallow cut down the back of the shrimp; remove the veins. Rinse well and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque, turning frequently. Add the lemon juice and heat through.
  3. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with rice or angel hair pasta.
