Skillet Steak and Vegetables

print Sirloin steak strips are cooked with vegetables in an easy Asian seasoned sauce. Serve this beef with hot cooked rice or a noodle dish.

Total Time: 33 minutes



  1. In a large skillet (or wok) over medium-high heat, heat oil and brown beef in two or more batches; remove and set aside.
  2. Add carrots to the skillet, then the beefy mushroom soup mix blended with water, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder and ginger. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and then simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.
  3. Add beef, bamboo shoots and snow peas; simmer 3 minutes or until heated through.
  4. To serve, arrange beef mixture over hot rice.

Serves 4.
