Apple Muffins

These apple muffins are lightly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. They're made with shredded apples, brown sugar, walnuts, and bran cereal.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 27 minutes



  1. Heat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in shredded apple, brown sugar, and nuts.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, and butter; add to first mixture all at once, stirring just to blend ingredients.
  4. Fold in the cereal flakes.
  5. Fill greased muffin cups about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
