  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine brown sugar, butter, cornstarch, milk, and vanilla in a saucepan; cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
  3. Place apples and raisins in 10-inch baked pastry shell.
  4. Pour cooked mixture over the apples and sprinkle pecans over top.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour.
