Shrimp New Orleans

print Most of the prep time for these shrimp is chilling time. They're easy to prepare with cooked shrimp and dressing ingredients, along with celery and green onions.

Instructions:

  1. Peel the shrimp, devein, and rinse under cold water. Place a pot with 2 quarts of water over high heat; bring the water to a boil. Add the shrimp and bring back to the boil. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and pink. Let stand for 2 minutes. Drain the shrimp and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; whisk to blend. Add the shrimp and toss lightly.
  3. Chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
  4. Serve on mixed greens or in cocktail glasses.
