These basic tacos are delicious and make a great family meal. Serve with Mexican rice and refried beans for a filling everyday meal.

- In a large skillet over medium heat, saute ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat.
- Stir tomato sauce in to the beef mixture along with chili powder, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Spoon meat mixture into taco shells and garnish with some tomato, lettuce, and cheese.
- Sprinkle each with a little taco sauce.
