print These basic tacos are delicious and make a great family meal. Serve with Mexican rice and refried beans for a filling everyday meal.

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat.
  2. Stir tomato sauce in to the beef mixture along with chili powder, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  3. Spoon meat mixture into taco shells and garnish with some tomato, lettuce, and cheese.
  4. Sprinkle each with a little taco sauce.
