Sweet-Tart Red Cabbage

This red cabbage is served with a sweet and sour sauce mixture.
Prep Time: 8 to 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
- Shred the cabbage and cook it in boiling salted water for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until tender. Drain well.
- In saucepan simmer vinegar, brown sugar, cloves, salt, and bay leaf.
- Add grated onion to the sauce and then pour over the hot cooked cabbage.
- Remove bay leaf.
