Ham and Beans Casserole

Use a center cut ham slice to make this easy bean bake or use cubed leftover ham. With canned beans and ingredients you probably have on hand, this is a quick and easy dish to prepare. Serve with cornbread or cruty rolls for a tasty and satisfying family meal.

- Heat the oven to 350 F.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium-low heat; add ham and saute until browned. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper; remove from pan.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet; saute for about 5 minutes. Add sugar, mustard, beans, ketchup, and vinegar. Mix well.
- Pour into a 2-quart casserole, arranging ham on top.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve with cornbread or crusty French bread.
