Chiles Rellenos

print These chiles are stuffed with cheese then baked in a mixture of cheese and egg batter.

Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes


  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine cheeses. Stuff each chile with 3 tablespoons cheese.
  3. Arrange chiles in a lightly greased 12-by-8-by-2-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the stuffed chiles.
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
  6. Pour egg mixture over chiles.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
