Crockpot Country Style Ribs

print These country style pork ribs are easy to prepare for the slow cooker, and they're cooked with a flavorful homemade barbecue sauce. Add a teaspoon of liquid smoke for a smoky flavor.

  1. Trim excess fat from ribs. In a large skillet, brown ribs on all sides in oil. Cover the pork ribs with sliced onion.
  2. In a bowl combine all sauce ingredients; pour evenly over ribs and onions.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 7 to 9 hours, or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
Serves 4 to 6.
