Creole Beef Over Rice

print A Creole style sauce gives this round steak a little Louisiana flavor, and it's a quick dish to prepare. Serve these steaks with rice or feel free to serve potatoes instead.

Total Time: 47 minutes



  1. Heat oil in skillet and brown beef cubes for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Add onion, pepper and celery and saute for 3 minutes longer.
  3. Add seasoning and tomatoes; cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Serve over hot cooked rice.
