Pasta Bake With Ground Beef

This family pasta bake is easy to prepare and bake, with penne pasta, ground beef, cheese, and marinara. It makes a great pasta meal for a family. Serve with a tossed green salad and warm Italian bread.

Total Time: 50 minutes



Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add oil, ground beef and garlic. Saute until the meat is browned and then drain off excess fat. Add all remaining ingredients except the Mozzarella cheese and pasta. Simmer the mixture while pasta cooks until al dente.

Drain pasta and mix it with the sauce. Pour all into a 3-quart baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.

Bake uncovered at 350 F. for 25 minutes or until bubbly hot.
