Meatloaf With Ground Beef and Sausage

print This meatloaf is made with ground beef, sausage, oats, and finely chopped peppers and onion. Use lean ground beef and your favorite breakfast sausage in this meatloaf, or use a sweet Italian sausage if you prefer.

Cook Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 45 minutes



  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine all the ingredients except 1/2 cup of the ketchup in a large mixing bowl. Mix gently but thoroughly and shape into a nice, even loaf.
  3. Place the loaf in a shallow baking dish and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  4. Carefully pour off drippings, top with the remaining ketchup, and bake for 20 minutes longer, or until done throughout.
