Beans and Biscuits Casserole

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion. Add the barbecue sauce and brown sugar (adjust amounts to your taste). Mix well and add the beans. Simmer a few minutes and pour into a casserole dish.
  3. Open the package of biscuits divide them and cut across the middle.
  4. Place these on their cut edge around the outer edge of dish, pointing from edge to center. Sprinkle the cheese generously over the tops of the biscuits. Bake until biscuits are golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  5. Serve this bean dish with a tossed salad or poato salad.
