Parmesan Herb Muffins

Heat oven to 400 F. Grease 12 muffin cups, spray with nonstick baking spray, or line with paper baking cups. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.

In large bowl, combine flour sugar, baking powder, baking soda, sage, parsley and cheese, blend well with a whisk. Add buttermilk, melted butter, and egg; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill prepared muffin cups about two-thirds full.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

The muffins are good served hot with a cream cheese spread, butter, or enjoy them split with slices of ham or turkey.
